Nana Agyekum Addo, also known as Dr. Michael Agyekum Addo, Nkabomhene (Unity Chief) of New Juaben and Chief Executive of the KAMA Group of Companies, has endorsed the wearing of beads particularly among young ladies.
According to him,beads have medicinal properties pointing to a research indicating that wearing, watching, and admiring beads can enhance human wellness.
He recommended the Koforidua beads market, urging all Ghanaians to patronize it as the best beads market in the country.
Nana Agyekum Addo said this at a town hall meeting in Koforidua on Tuesday that focused on neglected tropical diseases.
He also marketed Koforidua to tourist as most serene environment with high air quality .
He also stated that, “Koforidua flowers” are the pride of the regional capital.
