Deputy Works and Housing Minister, Dr. Prince Hamid Armah, MP, conducted a working visit to inspect the progress and status of coastal protection projects in various communities along the Central and Western coastal lines.
These visits aim to ensure that contractors stay on schedule for the timely completion and hand-over of these crucial projects to the government.
It is exciting to announce that the coastal protection works in Dansoman, Komenda, and Elmina are on track to be completed and handed over by the end of July 2024.
Additionally, the project in Axim has already been completed and will be handed over soon.
The investments in these coastal protection projects are expected to bring immense relief to coastal communities whose lives and livelihoods are continually threatened by sea erosion and other ecological factors.
