A 20-year-old man opened fire on the 2024 Republican presidential candidate at a rally in Pennsylvania on the weekend.
In a social media post, Trump thanked everyone for their thoughts and prayers and extended his sympathy to other victims of the shooting and their families.
The former president assured his suporters that he would still speak at his party’s scheduled national convention in Milwaukee.
President Joe Biden and other political leaders have condemned the attack.
