The Family Health Division (FHD), today, held its 2024 mid-year review, with a surprise visit from the Deputy Director-General (DDG), Dr. Anthony Adofo Ofosu, who came to listen to some of their achievements and challenges. Programme Officers outlined their priorities, reviewed achievements, and set goals for the rest of the year.
A key highlight was the introduction of the AAIMNCS program, aimed at improving maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health through data-driven strategies.
The newly appointed Director, Dr. Marion Okoh-Owusu, encouraged the team to pursue higher education and outlined her expectations for the division’s growth.
The meeting also saw the induction of new team members and a committee focused on continuous improvement. In closing, the Director promised to create a supportive environment for all, while an “angel” initiative was launched to promote team well-being.
