The independent candidate fir New Juaben south, Evans Appiah revealed “You can’t receive any aid from government if you are not a member of the ruling NPP.
He alleged the current political leadership in the Constituency is biased and operates with favoritism on party lines.
On Friday October 11,2024, Mr. Evans Appiah and his team paid a visit to the studios of Bryt fm to join the BRYT Adekyemu Nsem show which is hosted by Kwamina Sam Biney.
During the discussion segment on the show, he stressed “these two parties (NPP and NDC) are the ones behind the retrogression of Ghana’s development and progress over the past years.
He gave a scenario “A student who has completed university or technical university and even those who has completed nursing training with good grades,It’s the responsibility of the government to create jobs and employ them to work for the development of the nation. There are no jobs and even the ones available are but given out to delegates with full participation of the party’s contribution”.
“Nowadays, to gain employment and even opportunity into government institutions is either based on nepotism, favoritism and bribery” the independent candidate emphasized.
He, therefore, pledged to be a father for all when elected as the MP so as to bring constituents on board to help in the development and growth of New Juaben South.
