Mr. Joseph Kwadwo Afari -Yeboah, the Convention People’s Party parliamentary candidate for Okere constituency has urged residents of Okere constituency to have hope and believe in him as he pledges to give his all when elected as a Member of Parliament.
In an interview on Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem with Kwamina Sam Biney on October 6th, Mr. Afari-Yeboah shared his life story and motivations for seeking public office.
“I was into the party before the Okere branch of CPP called me to lead them as a member of parliament in the upcoming elections. In that case it became an easy task for me since I love this party wholeheartedly. The people of Okere know what I can do that’s they entrusted with this huge position and I promise not let them down”.
Mr. Afari added that Ghana isn’t a two party state, and those that have made their mind that it is two party state, they are seeing the consequences of it, Ghanaians should change their mind because Ghanaians need improvement and growth in the country that’s why my people have chosen me to contest and help build Ghana and Okere Constituency.
“I pledge to address these challenges, urging constituency to have faith in me. Some of these challenges in Okere are, limited access to quality schools, Inadequate medical facilities and services, Unemployment and lack of economic growth, Farmers struggle to access resources and support, Untapped potential in local tourists sites.
“Responses from electorates are positive, even though I don’t promise because we are all human and what will be needful to me will not be to you , so mine is only when you request I will surely do it for you and whatever will happen in Okere or Ghana should be left in the hands of one person but should be in partnership and collaboration “.
