Mr. Peter Atta Gyamfi, Chairman of Eastern region CHASS has pledged that his outfit will do their possible best in ascertaining the truth concerning allegations of unwholesome Moshosho rice supplied to some senior high schools in the country.
Lawmaker for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa had earlier made allegations against the Buffer Stock re-baging of rice perceived to be unwholesome as a leaked video revealed black substances mixed with the rice for senior high schools.
Reacting to the allegations Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem on Bryt fm, Mr. Atta Gyamfi was surprised if it turns out to be true after the necessary investigations are done.
He assured to lead investigation in the region to see if indeed some schools received those unwholesome rice.
“In fact, I am hearing this issue for the first time but I think it is a bad attitude if there’s any truth in the allegations. But I will look into the matter to see if any school in the region really received those unwholesome foods” PENSEC headmaster stated.
