Richard Etornam Nyarko, the Eastern Regional NDC youth organiser in an interview on the Bryt fm Adekyee mu Nse hosted by Kwamina Sam Biney on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 on the performance of the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia led government and made several revelations.
He was concerned about the NPP’s increasing national debt ratio and its potential to perpetuate youth poverty.
He stressed the President Mahama’s apprenticeship program aims to create jobs in various fields, highlighting opportunities for local youth training.
“The demand for POP ceiling installers is increasing but workers are hired from Togo. Ghana presents an opportunity to reduce reliance on foreign labor while the 24-hour economy initiative will also help to reduce unemployment” he underscored.
Comrade Nyarko added that John Mahama plans to address issues such as revoking of licenses of some banks closures and also help strengthen the economy.
