Ghanaian music legend Appiah Dankwah, often known as Appietus, has stated that his biggest concern is that former President John Mahama will return as the President of Ghana after the December 7 general elections.
He claimed that he is actively advocating for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s election as president because he is afraid of Mahama’s comeback to power.
“If voted into office again, Mahama will only have four years to serve, and so when he does anything we don’t like, we can’t use losing an election to frighten him,” he said.
“At the end of the day, I’m afraid that Bawumia will lose for Mahama to be our president again, so I have to campaign for Bawumia to win and continue the good works.
“Mahama has only four years to serve, so it’s very frightening for him to come again because we can’t do anything to him if he comes and doesn’t perform,” he told the host in an interview on Cape Coast’s Property FM.
