Voting is likely to delay a bit in the Bawku Municipality of the upper east region due to the volatile nature of the area leading to EC delaying the dispatching of materials to voting centres.
As at 6:50am, voting materials are still at the municipal assembly meanwhile voting materials are expected to be at the voting centres before 7:00am
The returning officer of the municipal electoral commission said they had a pass from the security agencies in the municipality and they had dispatched materials to the farest areas within the municipality and it was left with areas inaccessible like St Anthony, St Anthony, kariyama market square, day nursery no. 2 among others
As 7:19 am, some polling stations within the municipality were yet to receive their electoral materials.
