The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed optimism that the Ghanaian people have embraced his message.
In today’s election, he hopes that a large number of Ghanaians will cast ballots for him and the New Patriotic Party.
Following his vote in Ghana’s North East Region, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was addressing the media.
“By the grace of God, I am very hopeful of winning this election. I think that we have done a lot of work; we have put our message to the people, and I think that the message has been well received, and I believe that by the grace of God when all the ballots are counted, the NPP, myself, and our parliamentary candidates will emerge victorious,” he said.
In the North East region’s Walewale constituency, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, cast his ballot at the Kperiga Presby D/A primary school polling station. This shows that he has garnered support from Ghanaians, whose enthusiasm for voting is a definite sign of the country’s democracy’s progress.
