A voter was been detained at the Okere polling station in the Awukugua constituency after a security officer suspected him of taking unauthorized photos.
According to Nana Asiedu keteke, a reporter, reporting from Awukugua constituency, he explained an incident that happened this morning at the Awukugua polling station.
He has said that, a voter who was suspected by a police officer, denied taking pictures, but the officer confiscated his phone and found a photo of a parliamentary sheet.
On Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem with Kwamina Sam Biney, Keteke has emphasized that, the voter has been arrested and taken to the Akropong police station.
“A voter was detained at a polling station in Ghana after a police officer suspected him of taking unauthorized photos. The officer confiscated the voter’s phone and found a picture of a parliamentary sheet, leading to an argument. The voter was subsequently arrested and taken to the Akropong police station”.
