Al Wahab, an expert in international deplomacy and relations has queried why Ghanaians should leave for other countries despite the many natural resources the country is blessed with.
He was of the view that Ghana has failed to utilize all these resources to the benefit of Ghanaians, hence the desire to travel abroad for better living standards.
Speaking to Kwahu Dehyie on Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem on Donald Trump’s decision to deport Ghanaians and other nationals immigrants from the US, Mr. Al Wahab cited lack of national development plan as a major set back to Ghana’s development over the years.
He also faulted both the NPP and NDC of using party manifestos to implement policies and programs as far as the development of the country is concerned instead of having one plan to ensure continuity.
“Ghana is not ready for a national development plan. Both the NPP and NDC only thinks of what is the party’s manifesto not what will benefit the people. They are just concerned about the next election” Mr. Al Wahab added.
