Asante Kotoko captain Richard Boadu has targeted qualification to the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors defeated Burkinabe side RC Kadiogo by a lone goal in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League first leg in Cotonou on Monday.
Asante Kotoko goes into the game with an advantage and are confident of beating the Burkinabe side to progress to the next round.
Ahead of the game, the former Medeama midfielder has said their target is to reach the money zone.
“We all read about the history; however, this is our time to also make history and for us as players, our immediate target is to reach the group stage. The Coach has been fantastic and he relates very well with us.”
The Porcupine Warriors host RC Kadiogo in the second leg of the CAF Champions League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
