A devastating incident has occurred at Fawoade in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region, resulting in the death of a 48-year-old man called malaria.
According to reports, the explosion happened when a carbide cylinder the deceased was working with at a shop suddenly went off.
The Assemblyman for the area, Hon. Joseph Addo, revealed in a phone interview that the victim’s head was completely severed in the blast, highlighting the severity of the incident.
The police have taken over the scene and are currently investigating the matter to determine the cause of the explosion.
The body has been conveyed to the hospital for an autopsy, and further investigations are underway to shed more light on the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
