About six (6) persons have sustained serious injuries and several properties destroyed after an explosion at Brosa and K.K. quarry site at Bouho, a community in the Afigya Kwabre South district of the Ashanti region.
The explosion according to reliable information occurred on Tuesday afternoon.
Speaking to Bryt fm reporter, residents says the activities of the quarry companies have destroyed several properties amounting to thousands of cedis.
They again lamented that, their houses have developed deep cracks with roof damages from flying stones as a result of the blasting.
They are, however, calling on the government, the District Assembly and DCE, Hon Adu Poku Christian to their aid.
