Member of Parliament for Adansi Fomena, Hon. Adrew Amoako Asiamah on yesterday, the 16th day of May, 2023, was joined by Hon. Eric Kwaku Kusi, the District Chief Executive for Adansi North District and other dignitaries to commission a fully completed CHPS Compound at Ahinsan.
The project which was started by former member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Daniel Kingsley Atta Boafo now the Consul General, New York, has been completed and furnished to serve the good people of Ahinsan, Agogooso, Adokwai and the Ghana Prison Service Camp at Ahinsan.
Hon. Andrew Amoako Asiamah promised to construct a nurses quarters very soon to provide accommodation for the staff and to add other facilities that will make health delivery more accessible to the people.
He again informed them of the steps taken to make Adansi North District Hospital at Fomena a specialized one that will serve as a referral for most medical problems for which healthcare cannot be accessed in our district. As result of this, other facilities needed will be added soon before commissioning.
“I also spoke about the construction of the Ahinsan-Adokwai Road which has been delayed as a result of the government’s lack of funds. That notwithstanding, the Minister for Roads and Highways has promised to release funds to the construction firm soon, so it is my hope that the construction works on the road will soon begin as soon as funds are made available to the construction firm” he added.
“Like I always say, let’s all come together and strive hard to make our district the envy of others. We can do a lot together and I thank you all for the love and dedication you exbibit in the fight to make our communities great. God bless you all, and our dear Fomena Constituency” he said.
