The Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia over the weekend attended the 60th Anniversary celebrations of Akrokeri College of Education at Akrokeri in the Ashanti Region.
In his speech, the Vice President indicated sixty years in the life of a training institution is a remarkable milestone, especially for Akrokerri College of Education, which has been at the forefront of learning opportunities for people from all walks of life.
While congratulating various stakeholders for their dedicated contributions to the success of the College, Dr. Bawumia also urged all current staff to continue nurturing the coming generations of students.
He emphasised that will go a long way to help them realise their real potential and become responsible members of their communities and the nation.
