Residents of Buoho in the Afigya Kwabre South District of the Ashanti region on Sunday demonstrated over destruction of their properties by quarry companies in the area.
They agitate against Quarry companies over several properties destroyed due to the many explosions.
Residents says the activities of the quarry companies have destroyed several properties.They lamented that, their houses have developed deep cracks with roof damages from flying stones as a result of the blasting.
They are calling on the government, the District Assembly and DCE, Hon Adu Poku Christian to their aid.
Opinion Leader, Mr Anthony Boateng, expressed bitterly over the Quarry blasting, given government and the district assembly ultimatum to evacuate them or face their wrath.
