Hon Kwabena Boateng Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ejisu constituency has supported Over 80 public schools in the Ejisu constituency with 550 dual desk.
The desks were presented to the Municipal Education Directorate for onward distribution to the needy schools in an effort to enhance teaching and learning.
At a short ceremony to present the desks to the education director, Honorable lawyer Kwabena Boateng noted that he has always supported schools in the constituency with furniture in his quest to bridge the furniture gaps in schools.
He said the presentation of the 550 desks was presented to fix the furniture challenges facing some public schools in the constituency.

Receiving the desks on behalf of the schools, the Obuasi Municipal director of education Mr. Kwabena Owusu commended the Member of Parliament for the quick response to their needs.
He said the desks will go a long way to address the furniture challenges confronting some schools which are hampering effective teaching and learning.
