On Tuesday, Vice President Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia broke ground for construction works to begin on a 100-bed District hospital for the Ejura Sekyedumase District in the Ashanti Region.
The project under Government’s flagship Agenda 111 programme is designed to ensure every district has a hospital.
The Vice also commissioned the Headquarters and other facilities of the newly created Ashanti North Regional Police Command at Mampong, as well as an Operating Base for the Formed Police Unit (FPU) at Adidwan near Ejura.
He emphasised “These and many more interventions are concrete signs of Government’s commitment to securing the lives and safety of all persons resident in Ghana”.
