The Creative Arts High School in Kwadaso in the Ashanti region is expected to be completed in 2022.
The facility is designed to serve as a hub for producing creative arts talents in Ghana and Africa at large.
The first phase comprises Classroom blocks (V BLOCK), boys and girls dormitory, dining hall, Headmasters’ bungalow, and Assistant Headmaster’s bungalow, Administration block and 12 laboratories.
The girls’ dormitory will take about 750 beds, whiles the boys’ dormitory is also said to host about 500 beds.
This is an initiative by the current NPP government as part of a campaign promise made prior to the 2016 general elections.
