This is a project under the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP), a government’s flagship programme aimed at enhancing community life through accelerated economic and social development.
The project was commissioned by Joseph Kumah Mackay, the CEO of the Middle Middle Belt Development Authority who was assisted by the MP for Oforikrom, Dr. Emmanuel Marfo and the Chief of Appeadu, Nana Yaw Antwi on 5th April, 2023.
The project was initiated by the late Nana Amoaye (II) Appeaduhene with the support of the MP and financed by the Middle Belt Development Authority under IPEP.
Present at the ceremony were Management and staff of MBDA including: Mr. Vincent Frimpong Manu, Deputy CEO (Operations & Projects); Ms. Joyce Opoku-Boateng, Deputy CEO (Legal & Corporate Affairs); Dr. Emmanuel Amankwaah, Ashanti Regional Director.
Also present were the MCE for Oforikrom Municipal Assembly, Hon. Abraham Kwame Antwi, the Manhyia Divisional Police Commander, the District Commander, the Station Officer and staff of the Municipal Assembly and Police Service.
