Residents of Bouho-Foase, a community in the Afigya Kwabre South District of the Ashanti region, are living in fear due to constant attacks by armed robbers.
Residents say, they are attacked many times and several properties destroyed.
The situation is making their lives unbearable, causing many of the residents to abandon their homes to seek refuge elsewhere.
Residents accused one Okomfour Kwame Prince over the attack, the Armed Men often come in groups, they are about twenty men with wielding guns, machetes and other weapons.
“It is really scary, I had to flee my house with my kids because we are afraid. We no longer know peace and hoping that something urgent will be done soon, we are suffering” he said.
Meanwhile, a victim, Nana Kwadwo Adjei, expressed concern about the slow response of the police whenever these attacks are reported and appealed to IGP and His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu ll, (Asantehene) for their aid.
