An abandoned newborn, who is estimated to be one-day-old, was discovered alive at Manso-Tontokrom in the Asuofu River, in the Ashanti Region.
The baby was found covered in weeds and bush ropes, which miraculously saved the baby from drowning.
Subsequently, a young woman suspected to be the mother of the child has been arrested by the police to help in investigation.
