Report reaching us indicates that two unidentified suspected robbers have been lynched, while two others have bolted away with gold, car keys, and about Gh¢11,000.00.
The incident occurred at about 8 pm on January 13, 2025, at Manso Watreso in the Amansie South district of the Ashanti Region.
The Assembly Member for Watreso, Kofi Mensah, who confirmed this report to Bismark Mensah, said, the suspected robbers were four in number and attacked a community mining workers on their way home from sites.
“They were on two motor bikes and after the attack, one of their bikes carrying two of them fell, aiding the victims to mobbed an killed them instantly”.
He said the other two were able to escape, run away with about a gold that could weigh over 30pounds, pickup car keys, and over Gh¢11,000 cash.
Hon. Kofi Mensah added the dead bodies have been conveyed to the Manso Agroyesum hospital morgue for further action.
