A Team of two (2) from Accra, led by the Officer-In-charge of State Insurance Company (SIC) Desk-National Headquarters, DO I Edith Agbeve and Mr. Ankrah of the Corporate Group Business of SIC, were at the Ashanti Regional Headquarters in Kumasi to introduce to Personnel a New but improved Life Policy.
DO I Edith Agbeve in her brief presentation on the New Life Policy enrolled for all GNFS Personnel which will kick start early next year, narrated how this policy came into existence in 2002 as the Fireman’s Insurance and Management’s commitment to seeing to the holistic welfare of Personnel.
According to Mr Ankrah of the Corporate Group Business of SIC, the new life scheme extends beneficiaries to the insured’s Parents, In-laws, Children and Spouses. He stated that the new life policy has been improved to cover the following; Life cover, Permanent disability, Temporary disability, Critical illness, Medical expenses, Spousal Funeral and Parental cover.
Personnel were so enthused with the policy and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Management and SIC Life for seeking their welfare.
Thereupon, a presentation was made in kind by Management and SIC Life of an unspecified amount to the Six (6) personnel who got injured in the line of duty in the Ashanti Region to motivate and cushion their medical bills.
The donations were presented by DO I Edith Agbeve from SIC Desk, HQ to all 6 victims.
STNO I Augustine Adogoba on behalf of all beneficiaries thanked the Chief Fire Officer and the SIC Life Company for their kind gesture towards them.
