Bibiani Goldstars striker Abednego Tetteh has hailed his Creator, teammates and technical team of the club for helping him to win the Ghana Premier League goal.
After enduring a difficult spell with Hearts of Oak that resulted in his contract being terminated in August 2021, Tetteh found success with Bibiani Goldstars, scoring 18 goals to annex the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League top-scorer prize.
Tetteh helped Bibiani Goldstars to finish fifth place on the just-ended domestic top-flight with 49 points.
In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Tetteh expressed gratitude to God and the playing body for the support as his bagged the goal king gong.
Asked about how he feels winning the goal king, he said, “It’s normal feeling. You give thanks to God when you get the needed result like this. The most important thing is, I will give thanks to God, my coaches and teammates for helping me to achieve this feat. Celebrations are over, we are looking forward to next season”
Speculation has also emerged linking him to Asante Kotoko, but no official announcements have been made regarding his future.
