At a brief meeting held after becoming the Substantive Minister, the Sector Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection (MoGCSP), Hon. Lariba Zuweira Abudu, received a handing over notes from the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah, who previously served as caretaker minister for the MoGCSP.
Hon. Cecilia Dapaah thanked the Minister (Who then was the Deputy Minister) and Management for their cooperation and support during her time at the Ministry as the Caretaker Minister.
She charged the management of the Ministry to extend the same support to the Minister and her Deputy to work towards achieving MoGCSP’s mandate as well as uplifting its image.
On her part, Hon. Hajia Lariba Zuweira Abudu expressed her profound gratitude to Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah for mentoring her and impactfully contribute towards the growth and success of the Ministry during her tenure.
“I will collaborate with my Deputy, Chief Director and management to ensure that the President’s vision of ensuring that no one is left behind is achieved. She said.
Present were the Deputy Minister, Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah, Chief Director, Dr. Afisah Zakariah and some Heads of Departments.
