In consonance with the unwavering commitment for the protection and welfare of Ghanaians abroad, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) on Tuesday, 3rd March, 2026 had a virtual interaction with the Heads of Mission of Ghana’s diplomatic Missions in the Middle East over the evolving situation in the region.
The minister highlighted the relevance of diplomatic Missions and consular assistance extended to nationals in times of crises and also used the opportunity to laud the staff of the Embassies for the professionalism demonstrated so far.
The discussions focused on the emergency preparedness, communication with Ghanaian nationals in the region and the need to adhere to directives issued by host authorities to ensure safety and security.
