As part of ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and improve service delivery within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Minister undertook series of working visits to key institutions under the Ministry’s mandate.
The visits included the Tema Passport Office, the Africa Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), the Foreign Service Institute (FSI), and the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC). At each location, the Minister interacted directly with management and staff, taking time to listen to their concerns, understand operational challenges, and witness firsthand the conditions under which they work.
These engagements provided a valuable opportunity for open dialogue, where staff shared insights on improving service delivery, institutional performance, and client satisfaction. The Minister emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to building a motivated, well-resourced, and professional workforce capable of delivering high-quality services both at home and abroad.
The visits also reflect the Ministry’s broader goal of promoting a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement across all departments and agencies. Staff expressed their appreciation for the Minister’s presence and commended the initiative as a demonstration of leadership that listens and leads by example.
They reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the core values of the Ministry and to working diligently to ensure that the standards of public service — particularly in diplomacy, international cooperation, and consular services — consistently exceed expectations.
These visits underscore the Ministry’s ongoing dedication to strengthening institutions, investing in its people, and delivering on its mandate with integrity and professionalism.
