Kwame Baffoe Abronye, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed his readiness to appear before the party’s National Disciplinary Committee following an official invitation from the General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua.
In a statement dated September 30, 2025, Abronye said he is fully prepared to present what he describes as evidence of the “antichrist actions and inactions” of Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong. According to Abronye, Agyapong’s conduct has significantly undermined the unity and integrity of the NPP.
He further proposed that the Disciplinary Committee’s hearing be held publicly and broadcast live, allowing party members and the general public to observe what he called the “manifest antichrist posture and conduct” of Mr. Agyapong.
Abronye’s appearance before the committee stems from a petition submitted by General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. The petition includes several allegations against Abronye, accusing him of behavior deemed inappropriate for a party member and harmful to the NPP’s cohesion.
