The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Samuel A. Jinapor (MP), has touted Ghana’s vision to halt or reverse forest loss by year 2030.
As part of efforts to stop land degradation and deforestation, Hon. Jinapor on Wednesday 20th September, 2023, held strategic discussions with the US Special Presidential Envoy on Climate, Secretary John Kerry, and the UK Minister of State for Energy and Net Zero, Rt. Hon. Graham Stuart, on how to address deforestation and land degradation in Ghana.
The discussions were held on the sidelines of the ongoing United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
