On Thursday, 16th March, 2023, Lands and Natural Resources minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor participated in the maiden meeting of the National Lands Commission, for the year.
The meeting brought stakeholders together where they resolved to ramp-up our efforts at reforming land administration and making it fit for purpose.
The Minister and MP also joined the President of the Republic, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to commiserate with Prof. Mike Oquaye, former Speaker of Parliament, at the one week observance of the sad passing of his beloved wife, Major Rtd. Mrs. Alberta Oquaye(Née Asafu-Adjaye).
Later, he joined the Vice-President of the Republic, H. E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to receive a delegation from Gonjaland, led by Dr. Abu Sakara, to invite the Vice-President to grace the out-dooring of the New Yagbonwura, King of Gonja, slated for Tuesday, 21st March, 2023, in Damongo, as special guest of honor.
The Vice-President graciously accepted the invitation as a great honor done him and made a donation of Two Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 200,000) towards the organization of the enskinement.
