A group of assembly members in the Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly have expressed their dissatisfaction with the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).
The members allege that the MCE has ignored their concerns and only engages with people affiliated with the NDC party.
CONCERNS OVER ATTENDANCE RECORDS
The assembly members also dispute a recent record indicating their attendance at a year-end meeting, claiming they did not attend.
This has raised concerns about the accuracy of attendance records and the potential for manipulation.
INEQUITABLE DISTRIBUTION OF RESOURCES
The members also criticize the distribution of street-light bulbs, noting that each electoral area received only a single box containing two bulbs. This is seen as inadequate and unfair.
CALL FOR INCLUSIVE COLLABORATION
In a written appeal, the assembly members have urged the MCE to expedite his duties and foster inclusive collaboration with all members of the assembly.
They believe that this is essential for the effective governance of the municipality.
Meanwhile, effort to reach the MCE on the matter has not yielded result as at the time of publication.
