Some unknown persons have destroyed some billboards of Abuakwa North Parliamentary Candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC, Charles Darko Yeboah is popularly known as Ozey.
The suspects believed to be supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, are reportedly committed the act at night.
The incident is happening ahead of a visit by the Running mate of the NDC Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang to the Constituency today.
It is not clear if the incident has been reported to the Police.
Ozey is contesting to unseat the NPP Member of Parliament for the area who is a deputy Education Minister Gifty Twum Ampofo who is seeking reelection for a second term in office.
