Eastern Region has recorded 1087 COVID-19 cases with 969 Recoveries and Active cases as at 17th July stands at 108.
The Region has recorded 10 COVID related deaths and conducted 8009 tests and had received 7275 Results, representing 91%.
Confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ghana have increased to 28,430 as of 19th July 2020.
The GHS in its latest update indicated the three more Covid-19 patients have succumbed to the virus.
This has raised the death toll to 153 from the 148 recorded on July 19.
Recoveries from the infection are now 24,901, leaving an active case count of 3,376.
Four patients are on ventilators, 8 critical, and 25 severe conditions.
