On May 22nd, 2024, Assembly Member for Ada/Magazine electoral area in the New Juaben South municipality had the privilege of meeting with the Friends from Danish Trade Union Development Agency (DTDA) at the Accra General Agriculture Workers Union (GAWU) of TUC.
Their discussions centered on the urgent issues of child labour and child trafficking in Ghana and Africa.
Hon. Freeman Gadiri stressed that government and parents have a vital role to play in combating these challenges and urged policymakers to prioritize the well-being and future of children.
“As I emphasized, the leaders of tomorrow are the children of today, and it is our collective responsibility to provide them with the opportunities they deserve to grow, thrive, and succeed” he stressed.
