Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player Godwin Ablordey has urged his former club to address lapses in the team before Ghana Premier League resumes.
Dr Kwame Kyei has been criticized for his poor handling of Kotoko’s transfer business with Esperance which resulted in a $240,000 fine being imposed on the club by world football governing body, FIFA.
The life Patron of Kotoko Otumfuo Osei Tutu II following recent happenings has formed a three-member committee to investigate the club.
Speaking to Bryt FM, he expressed worry about the recent happenings in the club and has therefore called on managements to fix all challenges as soon as possible for the betterment of the club.
“As a former player and technical member of the club, I am not happy about what’s happening in the team now. Kotoko is noted for victory and not challenges. The problems have been too much so I will urge management to sit down and address all the lapses before the league resumes”
“Kotoko is one of the biggest teams in Africa and this petty mistakes should not happen to the club” he lamented.
