Aduana Stars forward Yahaya Mohammed is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after picking up a shoulder injury in their 1-1 stalemate against King Faisal on Sunday.
The 32-year-old is set to be sidelined for about five months after picking up an injury at the Onehe Ameyaw Park in Techiman in matchday two of the Ghana Premier League.
This comes as big blow for the fire boys who seek to win the 2020/21 GPL title.
Yahaya Mohammed opened the scores for the Ogya boys before King Faisal pulled parity later in the game.
He has suffered a fracture to his left collarbone and will require a lengthy time to undergo rehabilitation and physiotherapy before returning to action.
His absence will be hard for Aduana Stars to take as they have heavily been reliant on the burly striker for much of their goals.
Yahaya Mohammed was the joint top scorer of the truncated 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season scoring 11 goals just like former Inter Allies star Victorien Adebayor.
