Communications Officer of Aduana Stars Evans Oppong has disclosed that his outfit is set to renew the contract of their coach Paa Kwasi Fabin.
Fabin was named head coach of Aduana in February 2020 on a one-year contract. This means his existing contract has elapsed.
Earlier reports in the local media suggested that the former Asante Kotoko trainer has left the club after break-in negotiations after his existing contract ended.
But the club’s communications officer Evans Oppong in an interview with Koforidua based Bryt FM denied such a report and has disclosed Fabin will extend his stay in the coming days.
“There is no aorta of truth about the purported departure of our head coach; Paa Kwasi Fabin is still the head coach of Aduana Stars. The truth is that he has two weeks left on his existing contract. His contract will officially run down on February 27 but we are in talks with him to extend”
“Looking at his demina, he has accepted our new contract offer. We have interacted with him and everything shows that he will extend his contract God willing next week” he said.
