Aduana Stars defender Caleb Amankwah is optimistic that his outfit will lift the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League title.
The domestic top-flight league is returning this weekend after several months of inactive football due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic that wrecked the world.
Speaking ahead of their season opener against Hearts of Oak, the towering guardsman expressed optimism about his side beating the Phobians and also winning the GPL as well.
“It will never happen for Hearts of Oak to grind results at Dormaa. We will beat them hands down without fear or favour.”
“We have prepared very well for this season and surely will achieve our target of winning the league. That’s our main priority.”
Meanwhile, he has indicated the exit of Elvis Opoku to Legon Cities will not affect the club anyway.
“Elvis Opoku’s exclusion from our squad this season won’t affect us in any way. We equally have good players to replace him.”
