The Ministry of Information was privileged to partner with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, UNDP and the AfCFTA Secretariat to open a day training programme for journalists on the workings of the AfCFTA.
It is an important step in further supporting our media colleagues to deepen their knowledge on the measures to strengthen the Ghanaian economy and that of Africa.
Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah thanked all the collaborating organizations and best wishes to the participating journalists.
He stressed that the training will help equip the media with in-depth knowledge and experience in reporting on trade-related stories especially with the activities of the AfCFTA.
He again charged participating journalists to make good use of knowledge impacted in them to benefit the country and Africa at large.
