Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has named his final 28-man squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The much-anticipated tournament will kick start on January 9 in the central African country.
The Black Stars is among the 24 country’s set to battle for the covetous trophy.
Ahead of the continental showpiece, the Serbian gaffer has named his final 28-man squad which included all four goalkeepers.
The five local players that made the provisional list have all earned a place in the final squad.
Richard Attah of Hearts of Oak, Fatawu Issahaku and Philemon Baffour of Dreams FC, Maxwell Abbey Quaye of Great Olympics, and RTU’s David Abagna will be in Cameroon.
Ajax star Kudus Mohammed who has traveled with his club for training camp in Portugal has been named in the final but it is unknown whether his outfit will release him for the tournament.
Clermont Foot midfielder Salis Abdul Samed was excluded from the final list after picking up an ankle injury.
Goalkeepers selected for the AFCON tournament include Jojo Wolcott of Swindon Town, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen of Eupen, Lawrence Ati-Zigi of St Gallen, and Hearts of Oak’s Richard Attah.
The goalkeeping quartet will be making their first appearances at the continental showpiece.
None of the selected goalkeepers have had the opportunity to feature at the AFCON tournament.
Ghana is scheduled to play defending champions Algeria in a pre-tournament friendly on Wednesday, 5 January before flying to Cameroon.
The Black Stars have been drawn in Group C alongside Morocco, Gabon, and Comoros Island.
Ghana will be making their 23rd appearance and have won on four occasions in 1963, 1965, 1978, and 1982.
