Black Stars coach Chris Hughton has invited 24 players for the upcoming AFCON 2023 qualifiers against Madagascar.
The Black Stars will face Madagascar in the fifth round of the qualifiers on June 18 at the Stade Kianja Berea in Antananarivo.
Hughton handed maiden call up to Ernest Nuamah has been on top form for FC Nordjaelland in Denmark.
Injured trio of Mohammed Salisu, Tariq Lamptey and Antoine Semenyo have all been excluded from the squad.
Meanwhile, the former Premier League coach has kept faith in Andre Ayew despite calls for his exclusion.
Despite Hughton’s Ghana Premier League monitoring, no local player earned a spot in his latest call up.
Ghana currently sit atop Group E in the AFCON qualifiers, amassing 8 points. Their journey thus far has seen them secure victories in two matches against Madagascar and Angola, while also earning draws against Central African Republic and Angola in the initial four fixtures.
Following the Madagascar clash, the Black Stars will conclude their qualifiers with a final home game against the Central African Republic in September.
