Fire outbreak in a house at Maame Krobo in Afram Plains South District of the Eastern Region has led to the destruction of household properties and, two bags of groundnuts, and a bag of dried pepper.
The incident happened Monday, January 11, 2021, around 11:35 am.
The fire incident has displaced ten (10) occupants of the house.
“All personal belongings were destroyed including 2 bags of groundnuts and 1bag of pepper by the fire. The name of the victim is Baffuor Simon, 57 with his wife and children all numbering ten have been displaced” a witness told mybrytfmonline.com.
Afram Plains South District Director of the National Disaster Management Organization, Stephen Afram, said an assessment of the incident has been conducted by the Organization.
Meanwhile, Fire Service Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
