Nana Buaben Sintim Aboagye II, Kyemsohene of Oyoko in the New Juaben traditional area has urged Africans to change their attitudes to work or else stay behind in terms of human and physical developments.
Having stayed outside the country for a while, the traditional leader was optimistic it is time for Ghanaian and Africans in general to be patriotic and work in hand with the central government.
Speaking at his installation at the Adontenhene’s Palace at Oyoko in the New Juaben north municipality of the Eastern region, Nana Sintim Aboagye II spoke against bribery and corruption at the public sector which leads to the downfall of the development of the country.
“You co to government institutions and you are been asked to offer money before your request could be processed or dealt with early. Police officers stops drivers on the road and demands for money instead of checking their licenses or inspecting their vehicles as expected of them” he complained.
He called on Ghanaians and Africans to live in unity among ourselves and forge ahead in helping to make the continent as that of the western world.
