The former Ashanti regional Chairman for the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Mr. O. S Osei Yaw has pointed fingers at Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for the party’s defeat in the 2024 general election.
He was worried Dr. Bawumia conceded defeat and congratulated former President John Dramani Mahama on his victory in the early hours of the counting process.
Speaking to the media, the former chairman attributes NPP’s loss to Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and campaign strategies.
Despite the loss, Dr. Bawumia remains optimistic about the future of the NPP, hinting at a possible return to the political arena.
