The New Juaben North Municipal Hospital, a flagship project under the previous government’s Agenda 111 initiative, is set to become operational on March 3, 2025.
The facility was commissioned by President Nana Akufo-Addo during the first week of December 2024.
The New Juaben North municipality, which currently lacks a government hospital, has over the years relied on the Jumapo Health Center and other Christian health facilities for healthcare services.
The new hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, is expected to significantly improve the quality of healthcare delivery in the area.
Nana Yaa Konadu, the New Juaben North Municipal Health Director, confirmed that staff posted to the facility have undergone training on the use of the equipment assuring that the staff will be professional in discharge of their duties.
The Health Director explained that, the facility will begin with OPD operation before gradually operationalize other units.
The facility is part of the government’s broader efforts to enhance healthcare infrastructure across the country under the Agenda 111 program
