Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has promised to work for Asante Kotoko for free when he calls it a quit.
Currently unattached, the 30-year-old is on the lookout for a new club after parting ways with Hellas Verona on mutual consent.
The 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winner announced his retirement from international football with Ghana, which is an indication of an end of an era in his career.
In an interview with Accra based Angel FM, he reiterated a desire to work for his former employers for free in a capacity as a scout or being in a managerial position when he retires.
According to him, he sees himself performing in a managerial role than being a coach as he strongly believes he has a lot to learn if he is to become a coach in the future.
“For now looking for talents for a club will be easy than coaching. I need to learn a lot if I should become a coach. Been able to play well does not mean I can succeed in coaching but looking for talents for Asante Kotoko will be better” he said.
